The new oxo-biodegradable dog poop bags are fully degradable. These bags are opaque brown, 8"wide and 13" long, and come in rolls of 200. These bags fit every Dogipot dispenser and will also fit Fido House and others. The box dimensions are: 8 5/8" x 3"x 3" and comes in 10, 20 and 30 roll cases.

These heavy duty liners are specifically designed to fit all Dogipot pet waste station receptacles, as well as 1- 15 gallon trash cans. They are 1.5 mil thick with draw tapes and comes in a box of 50 bags.

How Green Are DogiPot Products?
Dogipot introduced new and improved Oxo-Biodegradable Dog Poop Bag in an effort to further increase the environmental friendliness of its products. Dogipot constantly strives to improve its products and this is a great step in that effort. Oxo-Biodegradable DogiPot Dog Litter Pick Up Bags include a new additive which allows the bags to break down first by oxidation (i.e., exposure to air). The oxidation causes the bags to flake and fragment into small pieces that then biodegrade. Dogipot determined that this new formula significantly enhances the degradability of its bags based on the actual disposal that is used in the market. This formula also is designed to meet US Standard Guide ASTM D6954-04 for Oxo-Biodegradable degradation. Dogipot also preferred to avoid the "corn controversy" related to bags and products made from corn and other food based crops. Oxo-Biodegradable Dogipot dog poop bags also contain recycled material.
All of Dogipot’s hardware products (e.g., Junior bag dispensers, aluminum Dogvalet, mounting posts, pet signs, trash receptacles with lids etc.) now contain a portion of recycled material. Only one product does not include recycled material because of quality issues related to recycled material rather than pure resin. Dogipot made these content changes as part of its company-wide “green” initiatives to enhance the earth-friendliness of its products.

- Biodegradable/hydro-biodegradable bags may emit methane in a landfill in some circumstances.
- Biodegradable dog poop bags can only be manufactured from pure material, not recycled material like our Oxo-Biodegradable dog poop bags.
- Massive deforestation of the land, rain forests and wetlands to grow “product crops” is causing enormous carbon emissions from stored carbon in this land, and increasing pesticide and fertilizer pollution in waterways.
- Farmers are shifting food crops for people and livestock to product crops, which contributes to world food shortages and increases in world food prices.
- The process of making biodegradable dog poop bags is a large fossil-fuel user and producer of green house gasses.
